How to Set Up an Account and Profile in the Support Center

In order to participate in the Support Center, you'll first need to create an account.  Note: this account will NOT allow you to sign into Minecraft Education unless you are signing up using an existing Office 365 Education account.

Sign In

1) Navigate to the Minecraft Education website

2) Click the Sign in link at the top right of the page.

3) Login with either a school, organizational or personal Microsoft email address

Note: A School or organizational account is the account you use to sign into your school or business and Minecraft Education.  A personal Microsoft account is a free account such as outlook.com, hotmail.com or xbox.com (Learn how to Create a Microsoft Account)

4) Click Accept to allow the Minecraft Education website permissions to store your profile data.

5) Click Upload photo

Click Select image if you want to upload a photo to display.  The photo must be less than 500 Kb in size, and be exactly square.  You can also select one of the available Minecraft avatars.  Click Save to return to the profile fields.

5) Fill out the profile fields and click Save

6) Once you're back on the community hub site, you'll see your classroom options at the top right. Click on this menu, and you'll see  "My Classroom",  "My Profile", "My Resources" and "Sign Out."

My Profile

My Profile shows your name, profile photo, badges and other information.  Scroll to the bottom and click Edit profile to update your profile.

My Resources

My Resources opens your site Dashboard, which has information related to your use of the Education Website.  You'll find notifications, information about badges you've earned, and more!

How to Edit your Profile

Click on the Minecraft Education home page link at the top of any Support Center page.  Click on your icon at the top and select My Profile to access your profile page.  Scroll down and click the Edit Profile button.  Update all of the fields you would like to change, and then make sure to scroll all the way to the bottom and click the Update Profile button.

Change a Profile Picture

From the Edit profile page, click Upload a Photo next to your name and then select an image to upload. The photo must be less than 500 Kb in size, and be exactly square. 

After you select your image click Save in the Select Avatar window, and then make sure to scroll to the bottom of the profile page and click the Update Profile button.

How to Access your Saved Lessons

Click on the Minecraft Education link at the top of any Support Center page, and then click on your name at the top right of the Minecraft Education  home page.

Select My Classroom to access your saved lessons and notifications.
