Multiplayer joining and hosting issues.

So when i try to host a game instead of giving me the little pictures for the pin it would do 4, X's so that people cant join and i tried the connection ID and that didn't work either. So when i try to join someone it lets me put in the code then loads for awhile then give me an error screen so i was wondering if yall had any idea on how to fix that as ive tryed everything i could think of.

  If you are not on a Mac, please let us know the Make/Model / OS version you are on and if you know of any other users experiencing this.

  Hi! I'm teaching students, and one student always can't join my server, and when he creates a server, I can't join him. All other students can join the world without a problem using the join code.

  My internet is 200 Mbps, so that shouldn't be a problem. I reinstalled Minecraft, but it didn't help. I tried logging into Minecraft on another computer through a different network, but I also couldn't connect to the world using the join code.

  Hi. No, we're in different locations. I'm teaching remotely, but my other students are connecting without a problem, even though they're all at home.

  Good to know you're in different locations.
  The X's are generally caused by the host being unable to reach our discovery service. I would recommend verifying that your device can reach the URLs Used by Minecraft Education, its possible an on device firewall, proxy, web filter, AV Solution, or similar program is blocking the connection.
