My Friend cant Join me, But I Can join my friend. Can someone pls tell me what to do, my friend cant join me, i have a assignment and hes in my group, pls tell me what to do, i gave the right code, right ip and port and we are on the same school, pls help me

i cant join my friends server, but when I'm hosting and in my server, my friends can join so easily. whenevr i try to join my friends server, it keeps on saying the server couldnt be joined or connected. we used the same wifi, and even the same version. i looked in the setting, but it didnt seen like i could do anything. please help :((

it's macOS Ventura version 13.0. MacBook Pro 14-inch (it works with my different devices but whenever I join with this device, it just says unable to connect to the server)

yes. 1.21.03 (i even redownloaded it last night but still didn't work)
3.) Is this a home network or school network?
I tried with both but none of them worked. (my friends can play with both school wifi and their home wifi)
4.) Is this a commercial account or school managed account?
its school is a managed account.
5.) What error messages do you get?
it says "Unable to connect to world"
the problem was that whenever I joined my friend's World(server) it kept on saying "unable to connect to world" and won't let me connect to the world. But my friends can join my world so easily.
i really want to fix this.

School managed account I believe as it's my school email

Unable to connect to world
When I'm on my phone or the school computers I am able to join friends normally and they can join me. It's just my mac that can't join friends and I'm using the same account for all.

Gotcha, thanks for the info! Sorry you are running into this, but good news is I believe the steps Max and Lynda posted here should help with the issue:
Mac & unable to join worlds sounds like a keychain error to me. Please let me know how things go after going through the keychain steps listed in the thread!
