Unable to Join Worlds Unless Hosting

On Mac, I am "Unable to connect to world" when others host, but if I host everyone else is able to connect to my world. It's pretty inconvenient. Please Help!

  Who are you both trying to connect to? Are they within your same school?

  Hi there!

  Yes, they are. I remember finding a solution; however, when I downloaded the new version, the same issue occurred, so I'm trying to find the thread that helped me resolve it.
