Connection issues
Ever since the start of the year, I couldn't join any of my friends on minecraft, they are all on Mac but I am on Windows, they can join me but I cant join them. I have another friend on windows and he also cant join anyone. Is this a problem in the game or just the school internet? We have also tried connection id, but it also doesn't work

Just had a few questions to help us support you further:
1.) Are you all on the latest version of Minecraft Education? I would make sure to ask them which version they are all on and make sure it matches yours.
2.) Are you all from the same school?
3.) Have things worked prior? Were you ever able to connect those friends?
4.) What error messages do you get when trying to join?

We are all on the current version (1.21.05). We are all from the same school and I have never been able to join them, but they can join me. It only says "Unable to connect to world" when I try to join. Do you know what the problem is?

Oh wow really, that is interesting they can join you but you cannot join them.
Are you all on the same school network or is one of you all on a home network?
What devices are you all using? Any Macs?

Everyone is all on the same network, and my friends are using Macs, but I am on Windows.

Ah I see, thanks for that info.
I have a hunch that if your friends used a Windows device to try to host for you it may work. It sounds like it may be related to a keychain access issue.
Can you have them go through the steps in this thread to see if it helps the issue at all?
