Wrong language
There seems to be a problem with how the Minecraft for Education page (https://education.minecraft.net/) chooses the language. It keeps on showing in Spanish for me even though the primary language of my browser is English.
This is what the Preferred languages settings in my browser look like. Spanish is at the end (because I do speak it), and if I remove it from the list the problem goes away.
I shouldn't have to remove this language from the list though. The page should not be switching to Spanish because English is at the top of the list, so the way in which your website is choosing what language to use might be wrong.
Any chance your web dev team could have a look at this?

For the record, if I add another language at the bottom of the list then the page will start showing in that language (see below).
I should also mention that I'm using Chrome.

That is very strange. You can try re-installing the browser and also try selecting the language you want at the bottom of our main website.
I have also mentioned this to the web team for them to investigate.

Yes, I have tried re-installing the browser and it doesn't help. I have also tried it on different computers and it is the same. It happens as long as there is more than one language in the Preferred languages settings of Chrome.

This is still a problem. I can confirm that it seems to be choosing the last language in the allowed languages list (mine is french, because I do speak it but it is not my default language)

Very odd David, can you try to reinstall the browser or try another browser to see if that helps with the issue?

Eh, not really. It's safari on osx, I'm not uninstalling safari to do your debugging for you. I did remove the language and the problem goes away, and then I put it back and the problem comes back so I think that's probably a good enough amount of your troubleshooting that I'd be happy to do.
How about you install the browser somewhere and add a few languages and see if you get the issue. I'm pretty sure you will.

Honestly, I can't believe after almost two years nobody has bothered fixing this. It takes literally one minute to reproduce (I've just done it now). Clearly, it has nothing to do with re-installing browsers since I've changed machines since I first reported this and it's happening in both Chrome and Safari.

Hey there!
Sorry about the frustration, I totally understand. While our website does offer a lot of fantastic things, unfortunately it does not always use your preferred language setting, you will need to delete the languages that you do not want the website to show and that should make it function as expected.
Sorry for the inconvenience!
