Likely the security software is blocking port access to your computer. I would remove that software and try again. Minecraft EDU Official

Reboot or Reinstall -- solves so many problems. It's wacky!

I have noticed that sometimes a 2.4ghz networks more reliably connects than a 5ghz network. Are you able to toggle between networks and see if it makes a difference?
