My friend cant join because his game is at 1.17 and im at 1.18

He cant join me, so cant i, he has to join on 1.18, how does he update? microsoft store wont even update either!

  Back up your worlds, uninstall Minecraft: Education Edition and reinstall Minecraft: Education Edition from our site here: https://education.minecraft.net/en-us/get-started/download 

  Make sure you both do that and you should be good to join eachother again!
