"Help us protect your acct" prompt leading to Script Error

Recently enrolled in Minecraft EDU. It was working fine for the first couple of days. Now, upon logging in, it leads to a "Help us protect your account, Microsoft has enabled Security Defaults..." prompt. When I click Next to proceed with whatever this process requires, it returns a script error (screenshot attached).

I can "Skip For Now", though it tells me I only have 11 days to continue doing so before it will force me to update whatever the security default thing is. I'd like to resolve this before then, when I assume I will be completely locked out. I removed and redownloaded the Minecraft EDU app, running as Administrator, from the website. I have no software updates pending and am using Windows 10. We have not uploaded any mods or anything to Minecraft.
