Minecraft EDU saying Disk is full even though there are 40 GB free

I have a shared cart of Chromebooks in a classroom. Each student uses the same device every day. We have a total of 6 hours that use it so 6 user profiles on a device. These devices are brand new this year so there is no old user profiles on the device. Each time a student signs in, it is saying they do not have enough disk space to install Minecraft EDU. The device shows 40GB free. I need help to figure out why this is happening.

  Sorry to hear you are running into some issues with Chromebook space. If we make a ticket for you, are you able to share some screenshots of the disk space and the error you are getting so we can look into things further?
