Is there a good way to UPDATE an existing server?
Education just updated or is in the process (I hate how it seems impossible to get any sort of notification of when it will be happening so that I can be prepared.) And half of my students have updated an can't connect to the servers.
At the moment I guess I just have to make new servers and migrate the worlds into them? Is there an easier way?

Hey Aleece!
Sorry for the server update process issues. I hope this guide helps a bit with it! Let us know how things go:
Update to a New Version of Minecraft Education
Updating Dedicated ServerTo update existing dedicated servers:- Download the latest versions from one of the links below:
- Unzip the new server zip, stop the old server if it is running, and copy the following from the old server directory to the new server directory:
- The "edu_server_session.json" file
- The "worlds" folder
- The "server.properties" file
- The "allowlist.json" file
- The "permissions.json" file
- Any other files or directories you went out of your way to customize in the old server (such as resource or behavior packs)
- Now run the new server, which should retain all configuration and authentication of the old server.
- You can verify you're running the newest version from the console from the "Server Version" line on startup.
