invisible crosshair

whenever i die, there seems to be a 60% chance that my crosshair is invisible when i respawn. this problem makes aiming with a bow, killing monsters, and even just using blocks more difficult.

  I think this is a bug that’s been around for quite a while.
  I’ve gotten used to it by now, so I’ve been dealing with it by using the `kill` command or re-entering the world.

  I’m using Windows.
  I have a feeling this issue has been going on since around version 1.20.
  I’m not sure if it still occurs in version 26.32.
