Is My 288MB Minecarft World is Safe? Do I need to backup the world or anything before it hits 300MB? And what is the limit for Minecraft Education to open a world?

    Hey there!

I have not heard of the size of the world immediately creating a corrupted world from other users, as there are usually other factors involved. That being said, it is still a great idea to make a backup of your world as you are nearing that mark just in case! That way you always have a fall back in case things do happen. And if you do notice some oddness if you reach that point, please do let us know! That would be interesting to hear about.

So things I noticed in the world is that, in some places, there are water chunk borders or like, the half of the cave is submerged by water and other half is dry and its vertical. I don't think this is a step to corruption and probably chunk borders or like that. Also some villages got cut in half probably this was caused by version updates. (I created this world in 1.21.92 and went, 1.21.93 > 1.21.131 > 1.21.132 > 1.21.133). So probably just a chunk border cuased by updates. Well right now I backed up my world, so my world is safe! The world is fine and no unexpected crashes happened.

    Thanks again for your support!

    Best regards

    Tasin

Hello! There shouldn't be an issue of instant corruption upon reaching the size that is or exceeds 300MB, but it is still recommended that you backup your worlds, especially if they're that big! Also, as Danny said, tell the team if there's ever an issue that happens when you reach 300MB. So far though, you should be okay!

By the way, I think the same thing about chunk borders. You did update the world a bunch, so that's expected to happen! Luckily, it isn't bad, and enjoy playing the game!
