Can't load the game - Hard Drive Usage + Users
Since the beginning for young students and more recently with Blocksi update issues, my IT department made the users be in Ephemeral Mode, which wipes the user after usage (24 hours max).
The way Minecraft works (from Minecraft Education Support: "Storage Requirements: On Chromebooks, Minecraft Education installs a separate installation per user on the device") with Ephemeral Mode, the user downloads MC once, the user gets wiped, MC is still loaded, a user logins and tries to load MC, but the storage is full. MC is already loaded, but it's per user and the user was wiped. Therefore, no one can play MC anymore.
I understand that is how my PC works at home, but this is ridiculous for chromebooks in schools with multiple users and faulty devices. All users should have access to MC on the local drive plus not have to install multiple times.
So with Blocksi issues, we can no longer play Minecraft Education until it's fixed, which looks like never.
