Minecraft Education doesn't work in my Macbook Pro mid 2012 (Mac OS Catalina 10.15.8)

So recently I tried to download Minecraft Education on my Mac but, it didn't work. So I tried 1.21.91 but it still didn't work. And when I downloaded 1.18, finally it worked. That means the latest version of Minecraft Education doesn't support Mac OS Catalina anymore? Well, that means I have to buy a new laptop to participate in Battles of boroughs? Please help! Is there any way to play the Latest version of Minecraft Education? (1.21.132)

  Hey there!

  Correct, Catalina is a few versions behind of Sonoma which is our current minimum supported OS version. Updating OS version would be necessary to continue using Minecraft Education. More info on that here - https://edusupport.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/360047556591-System-Requirements
