Hey there,
Sorry to hear you are running into some issues with the 2604 Chromebook error. Are you in NYC DOE by any chance? Do you know any others running into this issue as well?

Thanks for the clarification. We're working with the NYDOE Administration Team, and all teams involved to get to the root of this issue. We hope to have a resolution soon.0 -

Hi Danny - this is happening in the Calgary Board of Education as well. Can you have someone connect with me directly to discuss?

Hi all, Kaleb has been in touch with me, thank you.
Given that this was working, do you have a sense of what changed to create this behavior? And has there been any progress made on a resolution that you can share?0 -
Hey Mike,
As I mentioned in my ticket with you, we've investigated this with Google. We suspect that a change was made that tightened security for SSO Solutions in the Android Subsystem that ChromeOS uses that requires certificate chains to be fully validated. If a failure occurs between an IdP (i.e. ADFS, Classlink, etc.) than the Microsoft System spits out a generic certificate error of 2604 since it can't see into that process.0
