    Hey there,
In order to authorize a server setup, you will need to be a Microsoft 365 Global Administrator. This is generally your IT Team.

Let us know if you have any additional questions, or concerns!
    Thank you!

    Hey there,
Permissions have been locked down to the intended permissions as of the official release. Global Administrator permissions are required to setup servers going forward. There was a bug in Beta that allowed you to do this step as a teacher, when that wasn't intended.

We are working on some better tools for teachers to manage servers, but this will come at a later date.

Let us know if you have any additional questions, or concerns!
    Thank you!

I honestly liked the bug when the feature was available to every permission more, since you could do more with servers that way, and the feature wouldn't get overlooked after a while. Like you could make a private whitelisted server for your friends as a student, or make an educational assignment related to MC:EE (where it would not be ideal to host a regular world) as a teacher, or make global events distributed for everybody in the tenant to join as an admin. There were honestly more things you could do with the software with the bug. That's what I think though.

Well ya'll can do what you please, and I wish you, and the rest of the staff a great year.
