URGENT: CAMBRIDGE ENGLISH ADVENTURES COMPLETELY USELESS WITH THE NEW 1.17.30 VERSION
The new Minecraft EDUCATION EDITION version is really frustrating when it comes to play in the CAMBRIDGE ENGLISH ADVENTURES world since it doesn't allow to complete the game. The main bugs are: you're unable to walk on letters to compose the words which allows you to go forward (open the doors, or unlock different areas), some characters are stuck and won't move, so impossible to keep playing, when placing letters they turn into small colletable blocks again. Please solve these issues ASAP.

I tried to test it out the other day. I couldn't even get past the first challenge to fix the library sign. If you placed the block into the sign, you get a sound but then the block turns back into an entity and there doesn't appear to be anything else to do from there. Then when I tried to go on, it basically froze the computer (I think it was trying to do something cinematic but it didn't seem to be working properly.)

It's normal that the game freezes a bit when the page is taking you upstairs to the gate, it's, like you said, a cinematic trick, but it's not an issue for the game. The first one IS a problem instead, among other bugs...

I'm trying the pilot version, thank you for working on it. I saw some issues solved, like walking on letters or placing letters. Instead I've got one new issue: when crossing the bridge I didn't make it in time and the bridge collapsed with me now stuck down with no way to escape nor to try again. It would be useful to have some way to get back to a previous step in order to repeat the task or to return to some starting point. Currently I must restart the game and go through all the previous steps again which is waisting my time.
Update: did it twice, same issue, fell down from the bridge and the game is stuck.

I recently tried the game and had the same issues that have been mentioned in previous posts. Please, gime me a hand. My students are stuck in the library because the can't complete the word walking on the letters nor fixing the sign. Thank you.

Sorry to hear you are running into some issues with Minecraft Education. Are your issues only with Cambridge English Adventures or are there issues in other worlds as well you are experiencing?
When you say "library" are you referring to the in game library of Minecraft Education with many different worlds, or a library specifically with in the Cambridge English Adventures world?

I’m experiencing similar issues.I tried launching the game multiple times – it only worked properly once, and I don’t know why. Most of the time, the game starts but is full of bugs:

Sign under Steve's head – "Adventure":
When I try to fix the sign by placing the letter "A" in the correct spot, it briefly shows the correct word but then turns back into a small block again. -
"Walk on the letters to make a word":
You're supposed to step on the letters L I B R A R Y to form the word and open the door to the library. However, nothing happens, and you’re stuck at this point. -
Cave with earthquakes sign:
When I finally managed to launch the game correctly and got to the part with sign in the caves (Dangerous Earthquakes) I tried to host the game for my students. Some letters from my inventory disappeared, and students spawned in a strange area with only a few blocks instead of the intended starting point.
I’d appreciate any help or suggestions on how to fix this.

I have the same problem Filip is facing.
Can't fix the sign and cant step on the letters.
