I can’t play multiplayer.
Even after entering the four-digit emoji Join Code, it says “No worlds found.”
Both devices are on the same internet connection, but the accounts are different.
One of the two accounts is a trial version.
Is multiplayer unavailable when using a trial account?

It sounds like your trying to connect from two separate Microsoft 365 Tenants. This is not possible as a safety precaution. You'll need accounts in the same organization to play together.0 -

Gotcha! You can have your friend back up any worlds that they find valuable with the help of this guide: https://edusupport.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/360047555391-Import-Export-and-Manage-Worlds
Then they can uninstall and reinstall Minecraft Education from here - https://education.minecraft.net/en-us/get-started/download
