Hey there!
Sorry to hear you are running into some issues with the crosshair disappearing.
Just had a few questions to help us support you further:
1 - How many users are experiencing this would you say?
2 - What device Make / Model / OS version are you on?
3 - What is the exact replication steps? Join a survival mode > get killed in Minecraft > re-spawn without crosshair > get killed in Minecraft > then when you re-spawn the second time the crosshair comes back?

I am a student that has the same issue in game. I usually have to die 1-5 times to get it back and i'm on a windows 10 HP laptop that I had since around 2017 it's a really annoying but but thankfully it doesn't happen alot but please do fix this.

Gotcha, thanks for all the info everyone.
And does it replicate just about every time you die in game or only sometimes / under certain circumstances?
Are you all on Chromebooks or what devices are you on?

I'm on Chromebook.

Thanks Emmanuel! And does it replicate just about every time you die in game or only sometimes / under certain circumstances?

We have had several people on Windows 11 devices experience this in Blockbeard's Goldrace

Most of the time, when you die one or twice, you will lose your crosshair. You either need to keep dying to get your crosshair, or save and exit, and join back also, I'm on a Chromebook

Gotcha, are either of you willing / able to produce a video reproduction of the issue if I make a ticket for us?

One of my students had a missing crosshair yesterday and another student showed us that you can press 'F1' to get it to appear again.

I actually already have a video ready so if a ticket is opened, I can send it. Also, this seems to happen in worlds with behavior packs like Blockbeard's Gold race and other worlds with behavior packs.

Yeah, this is just a minecraft bedrock bug they haven't fixed yet

Thought I'd add in: This issue appears in both chromeOS and windows. According to a few other people, the only consistent way to get it back is to either die, rejoin, or use the command `/gui <name> reset crosshair`. It appears to be random on both chromeOS and windows, but when the world is shared with other people it gets significantly more consistent with each death swapping.

Hey Everyone,
Thanks for your diligent reports!
We are aware of this bug and are working on a fix for a future hotfix. We appreciate your patience while we work on it. For those on PC we've heard a quick workaround is to press F1 twice and that generally reloads the game. Or the suggestions that Tristan Hartung suggested may work as well!
