Strange "eraser bug" in code builder
My son is using Minecraft Education on a windows pc running Windows 11 (24H2).
Here are the specs:
Processor 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-13700F (2.10 GHz)
Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.7 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
His organization uses version 1.18, so we had installed their version on our computer and used it, but the 24H2 update to windows 11 broke it, so we had to update. We updated to the latest version from the Microsoft store, but kept the older version on the computer as well. It worked fine for about half a year, but from about a month ago, a strange bug comes up only in the Code Builder screen. We call it the eraser bug, because basically when you make a change, nothing updates, but if you scrape the cursor across the screen like an eraser, you can see the changes you made. It usually doesn't happen when he first starts it up, but after about 5 minutes of coding it starts.
We've deleted the older version and the newer version and cleared everything off the PC and reinstalled. We've repeated that a few times and then even tried the beta version of Minecraft Education. Each time we try something like that, we get about 10 minutes of non-bug time before the eraser bug comes back and everything breaks again.
I thought it might have something to do with the cache, so deleted that. Same result.
We're running an Nvidia Geforce RTX graphics card with gaming drivers installed. Could it have something to do with the graphics card or drivers?
Any ideas are appreciated!

Hey there Philip!
Just wanted to check in, did you reach out to our team? I went to pull up the ticket but I couldn't find anything. Did you use a different email than the one you wrote in with? Just wanted to see if there was any movement of it of investigation on our end. Thanks!
