Multiplayer not working?

Hi, it's been a while and me and my friend were just trying to play on a server. I could join (the host), but however my friend could not join the world and keeps having "connection issues".

 

I also wanted to join my younger brother's world, but same thing, "connection issues" upon the loading screen.

  Sorry to hear you are running into some issues connecting multiplayer.

  Jovian, is this screenshot that Greg shared the same thing you see or is it different?

  If it is different, can you share the screenshot of what you see?

  How many users are running into this? 

  Have things worked prior? 

  Does the issue replicate when connected to another network? Usually this issue is related to your IT admin changing some network settings.

  Hey all, 
  To help us break down the issue, can you check the following?

   

  1. Are you using any proxies or filters (i.e. Web Filtering)? If so, can you confirm that you've allow listed all required URLs and added all Firewall exclusions?

  More information can be found here: https://educommunity.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/360047118992-FAQ-IT-Admin-Guide. You may want to work with your IT Administration team on this. This is the most common cause of this issue.

  2. Does this occur in a specific world or lesson? This can help determine any world specific things that might cause issues.
