Minecraft Education crashes 10 seconds after opening a world (SOLVED)
Hi, My Minecraft Education has a problem that makes it essentially unplayable.
Every time I load up a world, it runs perfectly smoothly, but after around 10 seconds, it has severe framerate drops and eventually crashes. I have an organization-managed account, and an HP Laptop running Windows 11. I have not had these problems before, but after downloading the Microsoft Store version (even after uninstalling) it has had this problem for all versions. It has not updated before and after this problem.
Solution: Windows update

Hey there!
Sorry to hear you are running into some issues with low framerate and crashing!
Just had a few questions to help us support you further:
1 - When did you notice things not working well?
2 - Have you used mods or still have mods installed right now?
3 - Do you know anyone else running into issues as well?

I noticed things not working well right after I downloaded the Microsoft Store version and downloaded a texture pack that I deleted after
I have not used mods
I don't know anyone else with this issue
I have tried reinstalling with no luck

Hey there!
Ah! Thanks for that added info. There is a possibility the texture pack had something to do with it, I would disable any add-ons like that. Any mods, texture packs, data packs, resource packs, one of them could be causing it.
Does it happen in multiple worlds? Could redstone be a cause?

I have already completely deleted the texture pack and reinstalled the game, with no success.
It happens in all worlds, but happens very slightly slower in flat worlds.
I have tried minimum graphics, maximum graphics, flatworld with no mobs spawning, all not working.
It mainly happens when I turn my camera, if that helps.

Solved the problem!
I installed a Windows update and it seems to have solved the issue. It might have been some outdated drivers?
Thanks for your help!0
