    Hey David,
Just a note that High Sierra (or any version of MacOS X) is no longer supported by Minecraft Education as of 1.21. You can find our system requirements here: System Requirements – Minecraft Education
As noted there, we require at least MacOS 12 Monterey. We cannot guarantee the app will work on lower versions.

However, here's a few things to try:
    1. Try lowering all video settings and see if the issue persist.
    2. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Note to backup your worlds before trying this.
    3. Ensure your running the latest version of the app. Currently this is 1.21.10.

Let us know if you have any additional questions, or concerns!
    Thank you!

  • Thank you for the response. Another question, does that mean i'll never be able to open this game?

    Hey there!

As noted by Kaleb, the OS version is no longer supported by Minecraft Education. However if you are able to update OS and try the other steps Kaleb mentioned, you should see some improvements hopefully!

    Hey there!

Yup! Here is a OS update guide from Apple website - https://support.apple.com/en-us/108382

Depending on the organization of your device ownership, you may need more permissions to do this process.
