Why does the locate command not work for me?
whenever i use the /locate command it just say syntax error what do i do??????

i dont know what the first one means but i can answer the other ones
2. yes i am on the latest version (1.21.8)
3. I am on my home's network
4.im just a kid that can't afford minecraft so i used my school account to make my minecraft account, so i guess neither?
5. I dont know
6. it happens on every world i join

I got the error when i typed in /locate biome:
