Minecraft laggy or freezing
Hello,
We are currently having an issue in my class with a single student's Minecraft becoming extremely laggy the day after he logs in. When we reset the computer profile for the student and it is like the first time that he logs in, it works fine for that day. 24 hours later this student will have laggy / freezing issues.
We have turned all settings down as low as possible and it does not change anything about the way it runs. We also have had him log into different computers with different specs and the issue continues to happen. My IT department said that they have done all that they can do and told me to escalate it to Minecraft.
The specs on the computer he mainly uses are as follows:
Device name H390ID20521
Full device name H390ID20521.wilkesnet.local
Processor 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-13700K 3.40 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.3 GB usable)
Device ID CC411DB2-1A39-4E8F-8479-20F186FDFA8C
Product ID 00328-10000-00001-AA938
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Pen and touch Pen support
I am wondering if it is a possible issue with the i7-13700K degradation issue that has been plaguing computers lately. But it does not make sense that it would happen on other computers with different specs and that it is only happening to this student.
Other students can log into his computer and it will work fine. Other programs also work fine. The issue seems to be only with Minecraft edu. We have also tried reinstalling Minecraft edu as well.
Any help would be great
Thank you !

Hey there!
Thanks for reaching out and sorry you are running into some lagging issues on one device.
When you say you turned settings down as low as possible, which settings were they? Is the Render Distance turned down all the way?
What version of Minecraft Education are they on?
Oh wow, very odd it happens with the same account on multiple different devices with varied specs. That actually makes me think it could be account related somehow than device related, even though I don't quite see how at this time.
Can you get your IT department to make a test account for this user and have them login with the test account to Minecraft Education to see if the issue replicates on a test account?
