Pease help I cannot get my worlds back!
I am not able to buy a licence since my school does not provide these. my licence expired just bout four hours ago and am struggling to find my world one of which I have spent several months on I have always used this program at home to learn to code and would be very upset if I was not able to access my worlds again I have tried every recommendation to try and access them but they have failed and I am never able to access my world files all I want to do is be able to access them and copy them to another version of Minecraft please can I have advice on what to do.

Hi Danton Watson, You might try locating the world files as below:
PC (store version): Look in C:\Users\(USERNAME)\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MinecraftEducationEditionBeta_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\games\com.mojang\minecraftWorlds
PC (desktop version): C:\Users\(USERNAME)\AppData\Roaming\Minecraft Education Edition\games\com.mojang\minecraftWorlds
note: USERNAME refers to the user account used to login to the device, not the login for Minecraft: Education Edition.
MacOS: Look in HD > Users > <user name> > Library > Application support > Minecraftpe > Games > com.mojang

just saying but the methods I tried getting it back was through my c drive but the file there isn't actually a file it's a link to firefox which whenever I click it just keeps opening more and more websites that are the same but don't work. I would also like to say I never got any warning that my licence was expiring and would potentially like the option when you lose your free trial to have one last option to save your worlds that would save a lot of panic from a lot of people.

thank you it actually worked thank you so much I thought I might have lost days of progress is it also possible to make education worlds become playable on Minecraft bedrock/Minecraft windows 10 I transferred the worlds to my bedrock folder and opened up the world to see it say it was a Minecraft education world do you think this is able to be changed so I can access my worlds again?

Glad you were able to save your files!
As to world conversion, I've heard you can convert from Bedrock to Education Edition, but not the other way around (there are elements unique to Education Edition that cause issues).
In any event, there's no official support for this.
