Minecraft: Education edition
Hello all, I have recently downloaded M.E.E.H for my daughter however it appears that because we are not affiliated with a school she cannot use this game???
If someone could help me troubleshoot this thatd be amazing, thanks

Why is it that when we got our wireless fixed some months ago my sons access to Minecraft education is all of a sudden blocked at home. It works at his school? We have tried lots of fixes with settings etc.

Sorry you are having trouble! There are a few things that could be going on, but it would help me if I knew a bit more. Are you seeing a sign-in screen? It would be a black box that says "Welcome to Minecraft: Education Edition" and then asks you to sign in. I assume you can see that, since you are able to access settings. (Or do you mean computer settings outside of MM:EE?) If you don't see this. Minecraft isn't connecting to the internet, I believe.

We can see the sign in screen. The settings are not Minecraft settings. He can sign in and play on his own worlds but not on his friends worlds. We have also tried getting him to play on our office computer and he cannot connect. Although, at school he can connect to his friends worlds easily.

OK, so if I am understanding correctly, your son is able to play Minecraft at home but only on one computer and not on your office computer. He is also having trouble connecting his worlds (joining worlds) with his friends.
As far as your office computer, you can download the newest version of Microsoft education version onto the computer from this link:
Joining worlds from a home network involves a bit of tweaking. Sometimes one home network easily accommodates sharing worlds and another does not. As teachers like myself were dealing with remote learning we encountered this frequently. There are articles about what is necessary. Here are some links:
