Unable to place blocks

Hi Minecraft family,

I have a question about the companion app MakeCode.

I am able to place blocks manually, but once I try to automate the building using Makecode nothing happens.
I used the instructions mentioned right here  https://education.minecraft.net/lessons/how-to-build-a-square/ even though the agent moves without creating or placing any block.

Can you help me to find out where the problem comes from.

  Hi Karffter,
  
  How are you trying to build?
  
  If you are using the fill command in MakeCode it should works without any problems.
  
  If you are using the place on move command in MakeCode you have to make sure that the Agent have blocks in their inventory. You can right press on it to see if the Agent has blocks to build in the first spot of their inventory. If not, you can place blocks from your inventory.
  
  Hopefully this will solve the problem. Let me know if you still have issues with the little Agent.

  I was trying to build using the place on move command in MakeCode.
  
  You are right, there was no block in the agent's inventory, once I placed blocks from mine the little Agent started building.
