Problem with login via intel-based, arm-based is working fine

At our school we are working with Minecraft Education Edition.

However when trying to sign-in on intel-based (x86-64) devices (tested with: Windows 10/11, Intel Macbook, Android x86), we are redirected to a blank page.

When doing the same on arm-based devices (tested with: Chromebook, iPad, MacBook M3, android phone and tablet), we are redirected to our own sign-in page.

Steps:
After starting Minecraft education, we press the 'Sign In' button. The Microsoft Sign In page pops-up asking for an email address.

After filling in an email address, the window should redirect to our own login portal.
- On intel-based devices, the window turns blank (completely white) and does not proceed anywhere. No error message is given.

- On arm-based devices, we are redirected to our own login portal, and our schools login page shows up.

It seems the intel build of Minecraft Education has a different sign in screen than the arm version, where the intel one does not redirect to our own login page.

Any suggestion what the difference might be, and how to fix this? Might this be some setting in our own configuration?

  1 - It has worked before, I think it stopped working when we switched to a new login portal on our side. However we don't know why, since it does work for arm devices. So I think it might be some setting somewhere?

  2 - Yes, I've tested this on our school network (a restricted network with a different access to our login portal) and the open internet (even in multiple countries on vacation :)). Both give the same result.

  3 - I would like that, but I cannot add an attachment on this forum I think, only images?
