Game crashes and mouse focus issues in Windows 11
A lot of our students using Windows 11 are currently experiencing both crashes and mouse focus issues in Minecraft Education.
The crashes occur randomly, often when pressing the green play button in the code builder.
The mouse focus issue is intermittent and causes the cursor to leave the Minecraft Education window when trying to look around in the game. Clicking on the window does not help regain focus. This issue can occur, for example, after closing the code builder window, when moving to a new activity in the worlds, or entirely at random. Sometimes the mouse starts working again after a while, but other times the only solution is to restart the game.
Are there any solutions to fix these problems?

Have been experiencing the same two problems with some of my students for a while, and it seems to become more frequent. Any help would be appreciated!

Hey all!
Sorry you have been all experiencing this!
Are you all on Windows devices?
Let me know if anyone would care to make a video reproduction of the issue so our test team can review! Then I will make a ticket for us where you can share it.

I am unable to record it because the crash is instant and the mouse wouldn't be visible on the recorded screen. However, it does seem to happen when either opening Code Builder or Immersive Reader, so I am guessing it is related to websockets. It also seems to have started with the Windows update last week.

Thanks all for the info everyone, and thanks Erik for the videos!
Yes we are thinking this issue is related to the Windows 24H2 update, I have passed your info along to the team for further thoughts.
Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for the patience on this!
