Sporadic freezing/reloading 1.21.06; also minecraft.wind blocked from accessing graphics hardware
MEE has always played very well on my laptop until now. After updating to 1.21.06, I am now getting performance issues:
- Frequent freezes and reloading while playing in worlds and just in the main menu.
- Laggy mouse input (regardless of input device)
The freezes are the most noticeable and make gameplay almost impossible when they occur. The window will freeze for a few second, then will be replaced by the Minecraft loading screen, and finally back to normal. Interestingly, the game itself appears to continue to run during the freeze state, as sound continues during it, and mobs have moved when graphics reappear after the loading screen.
When this happens, my GPU usages falls to 0% during the freeze, then spikes to 100% before settling down as reload screen runs. There is also a CPU and Disk usage spike. Here is a screenshot showing two freezes in a row:

As far as I can tell, this doesn't seem to be related to anything happening in-game: I have no big farms, not running any code or command blocks, nothing that could cause lots of graphics updates or be lagging the game; it's all early/mid-game vanilla survival at the moment. I've even experienced this in the main menu browsing through worlds.
After the last freeze I got the following notification from Windows which may be some clue:
Application Minecraft.Wind has been blocked from accessing Graphics hardware

I'll be the first to admit my laptop is not exactly top of the line, but as I said I have never had problems with MEE until this update.
Laptop spec:
- Dell Precision 3551
- Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10875H CPU @ 2.30GHz
- 16.0 GB RAM
- Windows 10 Pro 22H2 19045.5247
- NVIDIA Quadro P620 (don't laugh)

Honestly the hardware does not look too bad at first glance. If I create a ticket for us, do you think you could provide a video reproduction of the issue that I could share with our team?
