Connection to host Error
Hello, this is a continued issue with Minecraft EDU. We are a 1:1 Apple District, all 24+K students have iPads and the teachers have iPads and Macs. I am working with an elementary site and we are all currently on 1.21.05 and all have Local Network turned on (Teachers and students).
We can all get into the world (Class Build Blocks of Concrete) but without the host iPad going to sleep and or getting kicked out of their own world, the we continually get kicked out. We can hold it together for about 4-5 minute then get booted again, yet join right back.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I have several other sites dealing with the same exact issue.

Hey there!
Sorry to hear you are running into some issues with multiplayer and Ipads.
What is the hosting device when this occurs, it is an Ipad too correct?
Are you able to test hosting on your most powerful device that is available to you to see if the issue replicates on that?
For hosting devices, the recommended section of this specs sheet would be what you are aiming for, and I do not believe most Ipads can match that -

Hmmmm, I had something like this too. While hosting a SMP with everyone on the same Wifi, players suddenly just got kicked for no apparent reason. Without even having to refresh the code, players could just join back. I think the bug may have something to do with hosting bugs with the host suddenly stop sending packets across the internet and to other players, which ends up kicking them. This was done with different models of Chromebooks.
