Translation - Language Support (German)
Hey there,
I feel really stupid asking this question because it seems like there should be an easy way to do this, but I can't figure it out. I tried ME last year with my students and they had a blast (and learned a lot!), but the effect was greatly diminished by the lack of german content. There are a lot of amazing lessons like "Hour of code" but it's hard to understand for my german students (grade 6). I imagine three solutions:
- automated AI translations (which would help a lot even if they are not perfect!)
- an easy way to get all the texts of a lesson so i can translate them myself and then import them to get a german lesson. The "easy" part is important here, I can't invest too much time into this since ME is only a minor part of our lessons.
- combined with the suggestion above: I'm surely not the only one having this problem. I should be able to upload my translation so that others can just select it from a dropdown menu and don't have to do it themselves.
Is there anything like that? I feel like that should be something that already exists...
Thank you so much, I hope this enables me to use ME much more!

Hey there!
I do not believe there are full translations of most worlds available, however you can always use Immersive Reader within the world to help with certain parts!
If you click on the little box at the bottom right of an NPC dialogue window, you can get a bunch of different options, one if which is translation. Similarly, if you push "I" on your keyboard while looking at a sign, board, or poster, you can also launch immersive reader.

Also, any type of questions is more than acceptable here related to Minecraft Education! We are happy to help, ask away :)
I hope that helps!
