Enchanting failure

I was playing in my survival world and put Fortune 3 on my iron pickaxe to mine diamonds and iron. However, when I mined out iron and diamonds, it only dropped one each time. What can I do?

  Are others also experiencing this issue? if you'd like, feel free to send a video (without any personal info) of the issue and we can take a look. Please have it clearly display the enchantment and show it consistently only dropping 1 item after about 10 or so mines.
