Placing/Breaking Blocks

I just used the Minecraft Education Preview and when I go to place blocks, sometimes it places it, but other times it breaks 3 blocks at a time even though I am right clicking.

  1.) What device make / model and OS version are you on when you got this error?

  2.) Do you know any others experiencing this issue?

  3.) Is this a home network or school network?

  4.) Is this a commercial account or school managed account?

  1) Device: Chromebook Spin 713 - Chrome OS version: Version 123.0.6312.112 (Official Build) (64-bit)

  2) Not this specific issue - a colleague of mine was testing this out too (same Chromebook and Chrome OS version) and his was crashing upon opening.
