Minecraft Education School Admin can control my personal device ?

Hi Team,

just installed minecraft education and logged in using my kids' school account, which worked. Awesome !

The issue is, during the login, a prompt came up to allow me to give permission to the school administration to have a control over the device it's installed on, in this case my personal laptop

Does that mean the school now can do whatever they want, even accessing my data and reformatting/controlling my personal windows laptop now, that it's logged in using the kids' school account ?
