Daughter lost all work creating minecraft zoo for school

My daughter has worked over 40 hours creating a Gt minecraft zoo for a project. She loved in this morning and everything was gone. She is devastated. Is there any way out could be recovered on a server?

  Hey there,

  Oh no so sorry to hear!

  Unfortunately if it is gone, there are no alternate copies saved anywhere on servers or anything like that, it is all local.

  We do recommend exporting now and then to avoid data loss.

  Was it on a Chromebook or PC?

  On a PC, the map should be stored in the profile for the logged in user.  If she logged in with a different user account, the map would appear to be missing under that profile.
