P2P/SIG: no_session(Empty Auth from Discovery)
Hello,
Today, I tried to join a world on an iPad (18/9/23) and I got the error message "Unable to connect, please restart your client. P2P/SIG: no_session(Empty Auth from Discovery)"
After some retries, I tried to host a world directly from the world selection menu but the world did not load, giving the same error message. Finally, when I hosted a world from the Esc menu inside a world, a code generated but anyone who tried to join got the same error message as me.
I use Minecraft Education 1.20.12 and the iPad has it too. My computer is a HP Probook 430 G8 Notebook PC, running Windows 11 22H2.
I have checked through the forum and it seems that the issue is connection between Minecraft servers and my PC. However, I would like to know what the Empty Auth from Discovery part means, and any steps which I could take to remove the issue. It would be very unfortunate if I had to wipe my computer.
I have done all the usual easy fixes, including reinstalling Minecraft, restarting my computer and restarting the client.
Kind regards, George
P.S. I went into Task Manager before the error happened and closed Java, could that potentially be an issue?
