Getting around the No-dedicated-server for MCEE Worlds 24/7
Hi there!
First off, I understand that MCEE does not support dedicated servers at this time.
My goal, however, is looking for advice on alternative methods to create a world that runs 24/7.
#1 Our School's IT department dedicates a spare PC to run the Minecraft EE world with the world host logged in 24/7. However, they would rather not do this as it would shorten the lifespan of said PC
#2 Would it be possible if our school pays for a virtual machine service and install MCEE on it?
How have other schools been getting around the no-server support at the moment? Any ideas or advice would be appreciated!

I've looked into this topic a number of times in recent years and it seemed as though a solution was being looked into but can't seem to see what has come from it?
Anyone know if we are moving closer to dedicated MCEE servers?

Hey all,
The team is aware that dedicated servers are a highly requested feature among the community.
There has been some testing in this space, however no ETA for a build with this included at this time.
