I don't get a pickaxe from Steve

Hello, in English Adventures with Cambridge, when I enter the cave and talk to Steve, he doesn't give me a pickaxe to dig the mine.

  I encounter the same issue too, restarted the whole adventure from begining twice,  when i get to steve there's no pickaxe. Someone, help.....
