  I'm having the same issue. Cannot uninstall Minecraft Edu version 1.17.30.5

  I want to uninstall because the latest version is blocking me joining worlds.

  Error that comes up when trying to uninstall is "This action is only valid for products that are currently installed."

  This sounds like it is due to leftover files. Use a 3rd party tool (like REVO) that you trust to remove any leftover files from your device. Once removed it should let you install a newer version.
