Client only working on PC
Howdy folks,
My school has a computer lab where we have several iPads, many Chromebooks, and 2 all in one Dell PCs. I have a good number of Minecraft Education licenses for the students, and they are happily playing with little issue on PC. However, my Chromebooks will not connect to the game. When attempting to launch the game, it gets only as far as the authentication step and does not prompt the user to sign in with their student email address. When they click sign in, it just stalls there and does not function.
I tested the same computer on an unrestricted network, and it worked. But again, my PCs are on that restricted network and they are able to play the game perfectly.
I am not sure what could be causing this. Any ideas?

Hey there!
Sorry to hear you are running into some issues.
How many devices affected?
Is it all the Chromebooks or just some of them?
Any non-Chromebooks experiencing the issue?
What OS version?
Has it worked prior?I would also check to see if there are two versions installed. Multiple versions installed can also be a culprit for this error.
It is also worth checking all the URL's found here ( https://educommunity.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/360047118992-FAQ-IT-Admin-Guide- ) are allowlisted on any virus protection programs or proxies
