Can't host a server

If my friend tryed to host the server. but it says: 'Can't connect to World'

we are on the same version .

  This sounds like it may be due to a backend system. I would contact your teacher to have them work with the IT department to see what they can do. For instance, P2P may need to be turned on for the devices you are using to play together.
