    That's one of the big drawbacks of the GDrive sharing with Minecraft worlds. What you would usually do to "open" a file in Google Docs just treats the .mcworld file as the archive it is and shows the contents. Students have to download it to their devices first. A solution that's worked for me in the past is storing it on Google Drive and using a Google Drive direct link generator to generate a direct link to the file, which will take students to the download page instead. Google Drive Direct Link Generator is the one I usually use.
