Sharing a Custom World in Google Classroom
I have created a custom GoMath lesson in Minecraft for a 2nd grade teacher. The world is finished but I cannot figure out how to share that world as an asynchronous assignment in Google Classroom where each student opens their own copy. I can see how the worlds in the library have an option to assign to students in Google Classroom but I'd like to to that with my custom world. I have tried exporting the file then attaching it to an assignment in Google Classroom but it just opens to show the contents of the file as opposed to taking students to that world. When I click on this file outside of Google it does take me to the world.

That's one of the big drawbacks of the GDrive sharing with Minecraft worlds. What you would usually do to "open" a file in Google Docs just treats the .mcworld file as the archive it is and shows the contents. Students have to download it to their devices first. A solution that's worked for me in the past is storing it on Google Drive and using a Google Drive direct link generator to generate a direct link to the file, which will take students to the download page instead. Google Drive Direct Link Generator is the one I usually use.

I just realized that I never said thank you. This works very well on the student end!
