1GB of RAM patch ?

Hi there,

might there be any "trick" like editing some config file, to make Minecraft Edu run on a older Windows 10 Tablet ?

Atom CPU Z3735G (BayTrail-T)

1GB DDR3 RAM

Intel HD Graphics G7 with 512MB RAM

 

Minecraft Edu installed just fine, will start up but closes moments later. Windows says "Application Error 1000"

 

Maybe somone has some crazy ideas ? ;)

  Maybe someone has a trick, but just wanted to share the min specs that do work to run Minecraft: Education Edition: System Requirements – Minecraft: Education Edition Support

   

  I would recommend something that or higher to run Minecraft: Education Edition :)

  Hey, yes, Im aware of the minimum specs. But sometimes enough is enough. (or might be) ;)

   

  Here it says there is/was a file named "options.txt" in Minecraft Education :

  Sadly its not there (anymore)  (?)

  %APPDATA%\Minecraft Education Edition\games\com.mojang\minecraftpe\options.txt

   

  They say Education is closer to Bedrock Edition, but I guess the requirements are stored somewhere else :

  Also not existing is something like :

  C:\Users\*****\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Minecraft....

  I will upvote your request to try and get someone that may be able to assist. We do not have the tools to facilitate something like this.
