Share a Link to Your Multiplayer World

Hosts of a world can share a link that takes users directly into their world. This allows students to more easily join worlds and work on projects in Minecraft Education together. This article provides information on how to share a join link via Microsoft Teams, Google Classroom, and email or how to copy a link that can be pasted to your preferred tool.

Share a link

Follow these steps to share a link to your multiplayer world.

From the Pause menu, select the Multiplayer () tab.
If you are not already hosting, select Start Hosting.
Select Share Link.

To share via…	Then…
Microsoft Teams Only available for Windows and Chromebook	Select Microsoft Teams. Result: The Share to Microsoft Teams form opens in a new browser window. Provide the necessary information to share or assign the world. Select Share or Assign.
Email	Select Email. Result: Your email application opens to a new draft email with the link to the world. Enter the email addresses and select Send.
Google Classroom Only available for Windows and Chromebook	Select Google Classroom. Result: Google Classroom opens in a separate browser window. Follow the steps to choose an action (e.g. create an assignment, ask a question, make an announcement, or create material).
Another tool	For Windows and macOS, Select Copy then paste the link in your preferred tool and share it. Result: The link is copied to your clipboard. For Chromebook and iOS, Select Share. Result: The Share experience opens so that you can share the link in your preferred app or tool.

Result: The link is shared and the recipients can access your world by opening the link.
