You should be able to keep the account signed in -- are you perhaps signing him out at the end of a game session?

MCEE accounts are run by EDUs and ORGs, which all have domain names, which serve as "the tenant"

Codes being temporary is a good security feature -- plus the Internet is not without interruptions, so it's not practical. Furthermore, a static IP address is more stable than a four picture code. :-)

You could build a world outside of the game and then convert it to MCEE -- have you looked at https://www.amuletmc.com/?
