Thank you for lettings us know about this. With the newest update to the client, we have seen bugs for Chromebooks and connection issues. With Mac devices we have seen that any interruption in communication to our servers can cause strange issues. We have seen some resolution in devices adding our application as a trusted source to the installed antivirus software. Can you let me know the OS version of these iPads? Try also turning off the stealth option under security and privacy to see if that option changes anything.

Hey Dominick. I saw the issue on both iOS 15.6.1 and 14.6. I am not sure what the stealth option is? Are you meaning the "Private Address" option under the network?

It's a feature in the firewall settings for Mac OS X models. It might not help turning it off but a good troubleshooting step to see.

We are not using Mac OS, we are using iPad iOS

Thank you for checking that setting and clarifying the OS versions. I am sorry that none of the potential workarounds helped. The underlying theme is that the loading screen freezing is due to an interruption in communication.

From what I can tell it seems like a roll of the dice - sometimes it affects the same student over and over. We started with about 50% of students having problems, to now having a much smaller number, but it seems to change every day.

We haven't noticed any patterns that would point to web traffic being the problem. Are there any known issues with iOS version 15.7 or 15.6.1 with Minecraft 1.18.32.0?

The current bug that is causing Mac devices to freeze at the downloading resources page is affect different types of Mac specs, nothing specific to iOS 15.6 or 15.7. I would try looking at maybe corrupt user profiles for the device and have students use a device they have not logged into before. See if that changes anything with the issue.
